And I Thought St. Charles Government Was Goofy!

Two more aldermen in the city of O'Fallon have resigned, following Aldermanic President Lyn Schipper's resignation over a week ago.

Aldermen Terry Busken and Randy Hudson have called it quits after what they consider reaching the end of their rope with O'Fallon Mayor Donna :the Pipeline Lady" Morrow and the heavy handed tactics of wet-behind-the-ears City Administrator Robert "Why Can't I Be the Police Chief Like My Daddy?" Lowery, Jr.

I won't go into great amounts of detail here, because I'm certain that more will come out in the newspaper soon, but I'm wondering if officials in the city of St. Charles are paying attention. Seems like a good thing for Dottie "Asleep at the Wheel" Greer and Mark "the Bastardization of the English Language Begins Here" Brown. I mean -- why put the public through the pain and anguish of the city's first ever recall election?

And if that wasn't goofy enough ... Lowery has now decided that if you want public information from the city of O'Fallon, you'd better pony up with some hard cash! Read here for details, but suffice to say, I'm guessing we haven't seen the end of this one!
