Election Day For Democrats: November 14

Really! Just ask Doug Broste, the third in a family of Brostes that are wanting to be elected to something.

Doug is running for state representative in the 14th District, currently held by Rep. Joe Smith, and he has quite the website posted for his campaign.

While a professional looking site is always informative and helpful for a political campaign, there are those that do more damage than good.

First of all, while I admire anyone who truly wishes to be a public official and give back to their community, there are some that just need to take a good close look at themselves (I'm being polite). This schoolbus-driver turned politician wannabe has, listed on the calendar of his website, election day posted as November 14, so as apparently not to interfere with the Tri-County Labor Club meeting (coming soon to a bar near you).

Just so there's no confusion, republicans are willing to allow Doug his desire -- and we'll even waive those pesky voter identification requirements, and even allow democrats to vote more than once on the 14th of November.
